All Schuco Hurricane Rated systems undergo rigorous independent laboratory testing, including large-missile impact (9 lb 2×4 at 50 fps), small-missile impact, and cyclic wind-pressure loading in accordance with the Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade County NOA requirements, and Texas Department of Insurance standards.

The AWS 90.SI+ features a 90mm profile depth with Super Insulation technology, accommodating laminated impact glazing up to 52mm, large-missile impact resistance per ASTM E1886/E1996 and Miami-Dade NOA standards.
