Applications
-
Energy Efficiency
We primarily use aluminum and Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC) across our range of products. Aluminum and uPVC windows are proven to be one of the most sustainable and environmentally friendly glazing solutions on the market.
Aluminum and uPVC windows are energy efficient which reduces the consumption of heating and cooling energy, helping to keep electricity costs down and positively contributing to environmental design accreditations, such as LEED, passive house and net zero housing.
-
Residential Application
Our strength lies in our ability to deliver high-quality custom made fenestration products for single and multi-family residential projects. With a stunning variety of profile designs, textures and finishes, our fenestration packages adapt to any style of architecture.
-
Commercial Application
All Tiltco products are rated commercially for air, water, and structural requirements. These ratings allow the flexibility of application across institutions, offices, care facilities and mid to high rise buildings.
-
Security Application
The term passive house refers to energy efficiency in a building. It results in ultra-low energy buildings requiring little energy for space heating or cooling. Passive design is not an attachment or supplement to architectural design, but rather it’s a process that integrates with architectural design. Mostly applied to new buildings, it is applicable for refurbishments too.
-
Sounds Transmission Control
Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings establish a way to average how much sound is stopped by something. STC rates windows, doors, walls and most building materials. STC ratings are the only way to compare various noise reduction products accurately. An STC rating is an instrument measurement of how much noise is stopped.
